So here it goes....on Saturday my pup started acting like he was having a seizure. No urinating, vomiting or loss of conscious. I rushed him to the vet right away as he was in severe distress. I was then told that they were to busy to give him the care he needs and he needed immidiate attention. I was then directed to the animal hospital. They did blood tests and x-rays to rule out the 4 possible diagnosis. 1) epilipsey (sp?) 2) allergic reacation to pesticide 3) neck trauma 4) menigitis. The x-rays came back and they are now saying possible acute neck pain. They want me to take him for a surgery that I cannot afford and also holds no guarantee that it will fix the problem. Or apparently shortly down the road we will have to put him down. He just turned one and means the world to me and my kids. I cannot stand to watch him have the "episodes". Has anyone out there experienced this?? What did you do??? Please help a very sad mommy.
