Hey everybody

My name is Sam and I'm from South Africa. I'm getting my new puppy on Jan 3 2008. I can't wait but I have some questions. I live in an apartment and I am worried about keeping my baby in all day. i have been reading the various posts and saw that quite a few people have mentioned using a crate. What is that?
