Our BT, Lexi, has been doing very well with house training for the most part. She hasn't yet figured out how to tell us she needs to go out but we generally will feed her at 7am and 5 pm taking her out somewhere between 1-1.5 hrs. after eating. Also after naps,first thing in the morning, before bed or when we leave the house and usually every 2 hrs. in between all of that. The problem is that I work from 6am to 4 pm and my wife's schedule changes from day to day sometimes she goes in around 1 or 2 pm and sometimes she goes in when I do. When we have to leave Lexi in her crate for more than 2 or 3 hours she sometimes will poop in it and eat it making her very sick and vomits until it gets out of her system. Tomorrow is the first time she will be going in as early as I do since we have gotten Lexi and she will be in her crate all day, I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. I was wanting to know what we could do to fix/help this problem of hers and if anyone else has this problem? She is in the process of switching brands of food which I am hoping will regulate her better. Any and all advice/tips are welcome and appreciated, thanks!
