Oh I wish we could keep Pet stores from selling puppies or live animals PERIOD over here in the States! However, as long as people continue to buy them, they continue to support both the puppy mill that keeps pumping them out and the pet store its self!

The only answer I can come up with is EDUCATION and letting people know what damage they are doing by buying from a pet store (or a puppy farm) and what health problems they are preputating!

Please people, Do NOT buy from the newspaper, pet store, puppy farm or a back yard breeder.

The Boston Terrier Club of America has a breeder referal service as do all AKC Pure Breed Parent clubs. Always check with them before buying a puppy. You will save yourself a lot of money on vet bills etc.
