Our breeder had Beckham on IAMS Puppy but after some research on what shouldn't be in dog food, we moved him to Merricks 5 Star Puppy Plate.

We were very happy with the quality of the food and Beckham absolutely LOVED it. He then developed some sort of allergy and was itching a lot. We weren't sure if it was food relate so just in case we moved him to WELLNESS allergy formula (venison and brown rice).

He likes this food as well but the Merricks really did have a lot more to offer (including major stinky farts). We're just eliminating some of the possibilities.

There's some really good food out there for your 4 legged babies and the premium stuff really doesn't cost much more (if any).

BTW, we controlled his gas problem with the addition of plain fat free yogurt (1 tspn/day with meal). It did wonders, so if anyone is having gas problems, I'd start there.
