I have a pomeranian that has seizures and is on medication. I have never heard that if you start them on the meds that you can't take them off of them. In fact I have reduced mine's meds since we started. I agree though that if he only has them once in a while and they are mild, I would just monitor. Mine has one every 3 mos or so even with the medicine but that's not bad. I was told that the mild ones don't hurt them. What does your vet say?
