Our vet was the one who initially informed us of the "not taking them off the meds once they start".....He did say that Duke's seizures were mild enough and infrequent enough that they weren't harmful to his health. So, that gave me some piece of mind, although it is sure hard to watch them go through it..........
Did your vet advise if you should talk/pet/comfort them while the seizure took place. I heard from someone that it can increase their anxiety?? I'm not sure....I would think it would be good for them to know that you're there......?
