Big Grin Snoring... - 08-31-2007, 08:19 PM

I finally found someone that can out snore my hubby....its my little BT Shae. We laugh until we can't anymore at her snoring. She don't do it alot but when she does snore she really does a great job at it My only worry is that she might be having problems breathing and I Sit and watch her sleep until she stops the snoring. Do I have anything to worry about?

I don't think you have anything to worry about, Rocky snores sometimes too. Before i got Rocky when i was researching boston terriers, i read a lot that they snore because of there awesome little smushed face.

i think its just that they have short nasal passages - we have a pug and it snores like crazy.

i just got 2 bts today and they are snoring a little bit (off and on) but its not nearly as bad as the pug!

anyways, yeah. i agree with the above comment.

keepin' it real since 1986.

Bandit snores a little. But I read that is because of their short snout and nasal passages. It is common in these dogs who have a bulldog features.

My BT Sam snores all the time. I think sometimes he fakes sleeping and starts snoring to see what we will do.

He also snorts when he eats.

When I took my pup (Bonnie now almost 2 yrs) to the vet they did a snip to her nose which reduced a lot of the snorting when she was awake, but sure didn't stop the snoring when she sleeps.

Rosco snores. When I first got him he was overweight and snored so bad it would keep you awake, but once he got to a healthy weight it got much better.
