Default Daddy's girl?
Old 12-21-2006, 01:54 PM   #1 (permalink)

Katie is definately a Daddy's girl. It's sooooo bad that when he leaves the house for awhile she pouts, shakes, and holds her ears down. The minute he comes home she's back to normal again. Do you think she needs a antidepressant? Poor girl, we can't do anything to cheer her up when she gets this way. We've tried playing with her, snuggling her, ignoring her, etc.??? Maybe a walk would help? :sowhat:

Awww - poor thing! What does dad do with her that mom and kids don't? Does he play with her more or give her more treats? I'd try treating her the same way dad does and that way she should love everyone just the same. :o

Sorry to say Jimmy she gets the same treatment by the whole family. She just really likes her dad!

Classic case of seperation anxiety I bet. Throw one of his old shirts in her crate when he leaves and I bet she'll come around!

awww sorry that is happening, i wouldn't get any meds for her she is young and will out grow that, just spend more time with her and maybe put something of his to bed with her, but also rotate the families items too so she can bond with the whole family better
