My little boy Elvis was fixed at a very early age but still humps his beds, and he particularly likes my boyfriends combat boots. He does not do it for dominance so even if he is fixed me may still air hump. Not sure if it's a Boston thing or what, he once humped his bed in his crate while I had guest over eating dinner and then his erection got stuck and he started screaming in the middle of dinner. I had to run over and calm him down so that he would relax. Everyone thought that was very amusing, I was so embarrassed.
