Jake sure does. It's funny, because he's only recently started doing it, but in the middle of the night, he likes to jump out of his bed, take the cushion out of the bottom of it, and dig non-stop for about ten or fifteen minutes.

I thought that maybe something was wrong with it or was itching him somehow, so I thought that washing it would maybe solve the problem, but that did nothing. He still digs and digs and digs and I'll be damned if I can figure out why.

I'm actually getting him a larger bed for Christmas, so we'll have to see if that helps at all...

Yep - mine'll do that every now and then too - it's the funniest thing...doesn't really bother me.

Bender does too....

We recently moved into our new home and there was a lot of landscaping done to it.

I was sooooooo excited to let the dogs play in the yard for the first time together (we lived in an apartment while the renovations were going on, for a year).
They ran around and were having a blast!!!
I left them alone for about 10 min. and discovered that Bender and Kira had almost dug out one of my trees!!!!

This is a lesson...don't leave them in the yard unsupervised...lol.
I don't really know if that would matter since he kept diggin' away even though I was yelling at him to stop...lol.

Wow, digging up an entire tree? Now that's a serious digging problem. I'm picturing the both of them cooperating like it's some sort of team effort to piss you off, haha...

Luckily, we currently live in a condo, so the only digging Jake does is either in his bed or at the dog park.

I don't know about your bostons, but I've found that simply yelling at mine loudly curbs most of the bad behavior. Now, if he ever does something he shouldn't (like pee in the house), he just walks slowly over to me, folds his ears back, and begs for foregiveness, haha.

Okay, Chubs have his moments digging. I live in an apartment and we have a dog park and everything. He don't dig in the yard or anything, but he dig or try to dig my couch for some reason. It was at a point he was tearing a little whole in the fabric. I had to try correct that problem fast. He haven't done it lately since I tell him NO, everytime I think he thinking about doing it.

Here is a picture of Chubs,

P.S. (Both of his ears now stand up )

lol sapphire digs all her bedding too, Boston Terriers love to dig its in them, If you have a garden and you dont want him to dig there you can train them where they are allowed to dig by burying their treat or toy and then show them where it is and repeat and after they get use to digging in that spot you won't have to hide toys or treats there because they will start hiding their toys by themselves and when they forget about it and come back to dig they get a big surprise lol

My Boston Harry that is a Year and a Half Old is for the most part VERY well behaved. He will every once in a while have a running spell around the house but we also have a 7 Year Old Chihuahua and 8 Week Old Kitten that he does VERY WELL around and with. Although when I bought him at 8 Weeks Old they had trained him on a puppy pad and it's been merely impossible to break him of that !!!! Got any suggestions ? They would be GREATLY APPRECIATED
