Default sneaky dog

As shown in other thread having trouble with Sophie chewing on things. Today she was chewing on part of the loveseat in my office. A part of the fabric hangs at the bottom. I saw her and sd no. She stopped, looked at me and did it again. Again I sd no. She then put her nose to it and looked out of the corner of her eye to see if I was going to stop her. I said no and she walked off. Sneaky little thing.

LOL - our dogs do the same thing. ESPECIALLY with wrestling. They'll go and go and go and eventually I'll get annoyed (they feel the need to wrestle on top of me and Gizmo growls a lot), and say "Hey!" or "No!". They'll stop, look at me, wait for me to stop paying attention and do it again. Such goobers.

I would put her in her crate for a 'time out' if she doesn't listen to you.

That's right time for a time out and remember not to look or let your pup out when he/she is
whining.

I would bring her back to the chair and tell her no, so she gets that what she did is a no-no!

Murphy puts a chew toy on or around the true object he is chewing. Just keep saying no...they do give it up and find something new to get into trouble with.
