I HAVE SEVERAL OF MY BOSTONS WITH THIS MARK. MANY OF THE JUDGES I SHOW UNDER LOVE TO SEE IT. WE CALL IT THE ROYAL MARK. IF YOU TRACE IT BACK. MOST OF THE GREATEST BOSTONS ON RECORD HAVE IT. MY "ANDANTE" - FREEDOM'S ANDANTE'S ARRIVAL HAS IT. HE IS A BEAUTIFUL SEAL, BRINDLE AND WHITE.

He is adorable. I, too have had many puppies with the spot. Love it! One of my pups was named Dot because of hers.

That is very interesting news .I never knew about that spot my old boston had on her head but I'll tell you she was the kiss of God for me forsure.She was the smartest,most loving ,most obedient ,devoted ,4legged human I ever knew.Because she acted so human.She got cancer in april of 2000 and left me all alone on november 24 2004.Oh yes they bought me another one,but my girl was 16 when she had to be put to sleep as the cancer attacked her bladder and I never felt more awful in my life,then having to do that.I stayed with her till the end in tears that I couldn't even control I felt like I had murdered her and it just wasn't right.She was my true soul mate she was my true love.We were attached at the hip from morning till night everyday of our lives as she grew and I got older.I still love the boston breed but the one I have now ,Ella she is a live wire.And some days it is hard to get use to .But she is doing better as she gets older.But I will never forget my old girl with that one loving spot on her head.

I just found this forum today. I have my ex's boston, Fender that stays with me til she gets a place that lets her have a dog, but MY boston, Kal-El has this "Haggarty Dot". I've never heard of it before today. I googled it and found this thread. So is my pup worth a lot? I only paid $200 for him.
