Default Ears and Skin
Old 02-27-2007, 08:21 PM   #1 (permalink)

When should I expect Tie-Son's ears to stand up? They're starting to, but I was just wondering when they should stand up all of the time.

Also, is there anything I can do for dandruff? All of a sudden he's got it pretty bad. I haven't bathed him yet, so I know it's not shampoo drying it out. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it! Thanks

Their ears stand up at different times. If they are teeting their ears may flop down again. Just like a child things are done at different time. As for the dandruff your dogs skin may be dry from the heat going in the house. Ask a vet for a good suppliment to add to the food to help the skin.

I had the exact same problem with dandruff for my lil guy. I talked to the vet and he told me it might be a good idea to switch the brand of food. I was using Iams, then he suggested two types of brands. They were Nutro Max or Royal Canin. Now, I'm feeding him Royal Canin and I haven't seen dandruff since.
