Smile Off the lead!
Old 04-05-2007, 01:22 PM   #1 (permalink)

I have alot of parks and open counryside where I live so koda gets to walk off of the lead alot. Although he's still a pup I think he does really well, he'll only walk about 10ft in front of me before he stops and waits for me to catch up. He'll also wait on command if I tell him to. Just wondering how other Bostons do off the lead and if there is anything I should be ready for...like him suddenly deciding to not wait!

The biggest thing I would watch out for is another dog, or small woodland creature that might catch Koda's attention. I know that my two BT's don't listen too well when they've got their sights on a squirrel, rabbit, or one of the pesky neighborhood cats.
