I know that EVERYONE has nicknames for their dogs, so let's hear them.

Jake's got at least a dozen:

-Poop Butt
-Pooper
-Poop
-Lil Poop
-Boo Boo
-Poo poo
-Lil Shit (always used affectionately)
-Pig Butt
-Poople
-Jakey

Mostly we call him Bender...but when being goofy it's....

BENDA, BENDA, BENDA...
STINK BOY
MONKEY BUTT

And there's a guy at work that always calls him
GOONEY GOO GOO...
and now that's what my husband says too...
You know, it really does fit his personality...try saying that to yours in a goofy way and you'll see what I mean ... :D

i was hoping you wouldn't say jakey lol just kidding, my sons name is jake and we call him jakey and jakers and jakeroo but we are on dog pet names here lol ok sapphire is sapphy sapphers little blank lol pokey because we think boston terriers look like the pokey little puppy from that childrens book

Sam's nicknames vary.

When he is good:

Ding Dong (which he comes running to)
Stinkerdoodle
Stink Monkey
Lovebug
My Boy

When he is in trouble, I tend to give him longer, more formal names (kind of like with my kids I use their full names when they are busted):

Samuel L. Jackson
Sam Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt

The one thing great about having a dog nicknames vs. kids nicknames:

With the nicknames I have for my kids (mokey butt, stinkpot, etc.) it's probably scarred them in some way...I'll probably have to pay for each of them to have 20 years "on the couch", with Sam...not so much!

That's funny..our favorite nickname for our daughter is peanut or peanut butter!!
