Ok, there are two females available.... one is standard black and white and the other one has total white face with one brown eye and one blue eye and a brindle back. She is way too cute!!! My friend has a white faced boston so I'm almost thinking to go for that one because it's different looking and unique. What do you all think?? I will see them Friday so I can check out their individual personalities.

Well, certainly go for a good personality, but the boston's i have seen with white faces are definitely cute!!! You're right, they are unique and beautiful, and if that is what you are leaning towards then go for it!!

Any reason why you are looking at females? Just wondering... Male Bostons are the most awesome companions ever! Boston Terriers are one breed where there is a definate difference in the sexes as far as personality goes.

Since you are just looking for a pet/companion, then don't worry about color or markings. Go for personality and HEALTH! Make sure the parents have been CERF, BAER and OFA Patella checked and passed. Make sure they are at least 9 - 10 weeks old before leaving mom and siblings, make sure there are no goopy eyes, runny noses or smelly ears. Make sure thier hair is soft and shiny, not dull and rough. Make sure Mom and Dad are in good health as well.

We will all be excited to see what you bring home!

Good luck!

Default Hi,

well since I posted we brought home a Boston pup! It's a boy and his name is Bo. He's beautiful and has the funniest wall eyes.
I got him from a local hobby breeder who have raised some boston's. They own Bo's Mom and Grandmother and his Dad lives in Oklahoma. He belongs to a friend of theirs. They just moved here to Tennessee recently to be near family. They have a famous sister, you may know her, haha...... Ever hear of Carrie Underwood?! Anyhow Bo is Carrie's nephew dog! lol!
I'm attaching a picture for you to see. He's a sweet boy and he's 8 weeks. We got him at 7 weeks because his Mom stopped nursing at 4 weeks and his siblings were all going to homes so even though it's ideal for a puppy to stay with their littermates we kind of had no choice. He's been doing great and he has our 7 year old bullmastiff as a pal to hang out with.

he's gorgeous! i agree with jeannie. i have always had female dogs because their easier to get along with. my weimaraners were males and i noticed the diffrence! my females were moody and wanted to play and work when they wanted to. but my males were easier going than the females. the males enjoyed all the things we did. they are easier with other dogs and always seem happy. when we train they're full of enthousiasm while the females had to be in the mood! no no females for mee give me a male any time!hihihi
