I have a friend who has offered to give me a 3 month old Boston. I've never owned a small dog and currently have a 12 year old ShepardX who is a sweet dog and gets along well with others.
My pastime is hiking, and I wasn't sure if a Boston Terrier would do well on the trails.
i would wait until he's fully grown but we go hiking all the time with our boston! we are planning a weekend to the snow. my boyfriend is going skiing and i'll go hiking with my boston.
I don't see why not. Adult Bostons are a hardy little breed who loves excersise!! They love to go where ever you go, and usually will out last you!
Like Esther mentioned it would be best to wait to go on long hike with a young puppy just due to the fact her body isn't totally mature and is under stress from growing. But after he/she is older, go, go, go!!!!!! He/she will love you for it!
