We've tried several different foods. The breeder used Pro Plan, but Sadie didn't do too well on that, so we slowly switched to Canidae. Still not so great for little Sadie. Her stomach seems to be sensitive. We tried some of the cheaper brands, just to see, and the dandruff was just horrible. We then tried Innova, but it was too expensive for us to keep going.

Now we've got them on Nutro Natural Choice. Amazingly enough, they're doing great. Sadie scarfs it down, the dandruff is gone, they don't shed as much, and the stools are firm. We're pretty happy. And a 20 lb. bag is only $30 with tax, and that lasts us a while. So we'll be staying with the Nutro for the time being.

When I brought Jake home the breeder sent food with him but he too was having bad loose stool and then had blood in it. I switched him over to Benniful Playful Life and he is doing great. I also feed Jake raw veggies he loves carrotts.

I used to feed beneful, but I switched to natural life and he does so much better on it. With the beneful he was gassy ALL the time and his coat was duller and he had tear stains. He looks (and smells) much better on the natural life.

For Panda Bear I boil chicken in water and put in with his Blue dry food, she gobbles it up, I have not moved to rice yet! but she does snack on carrots and stuff like that so she eats okay, but she is really picky!

I fed Nutro for years but was told by a well known breeder that they did too, untill Nurto changed owership. With the new ownership the food changed. She chose to make her own food. I opted to change to Royal Canin. I have one BT that has been on it for a year and my pup 6mos. They both are doing great, healthy....... and thick, shiny, glorious coats. And, most important, they like it.

I used pro plan for 10+ years with my male/female boxers and both were very healthy. So far my Boston has been doing great with the puppy pro plan.

My dogs 13 so I feed her Purina Pro Plan(for adult dogs) for sensitive skin and stomach. It seems to have helped with her gas problem.
