Default Why Name

My Boston's name is Bonnie, a name that was finally a concensus between family members. It seems to fit her real well. I have a pair of female Bloodhounds named Reba and Ruby, plus a white boxer named Ozzie, a mongrel named ziggy and another mongrel name Coco.

We named our BT Mila because my husband likes Mila Jhovovic (did I spell that right?) Thats the girl from the 5th element. It seems to fit her.

Rupert B. Puppenstein is a name that my fiancee came up with. I love the name Rupert, his registered name is Cobweb's Butch is a DeLite, but I didn't like the name Butch and felt guilty not keeping it with him as he was his breeders baby first, so the B. stands for Butch, and my fiancee came up with Puppenstein because he didn't think BT's were cute in the beginning and looked a little frankenstein-like. We call him RBP for the most part or Rupert. But to his doctors and our friends and family, he is known as Rupert B. Puppenstein.

Hi everyone. Im a new member and couldnt resist replying to your posts. I'm a dog groomer and have owned dogs all my life. Just recently we bought 2 boston terriers. They are brother and sister and were born the day before Easter. We had great fun coming up with their names. Originally we were just going to buy the girl, but couldnt resist buying her "twin" brother. We couldnt be happier! Anyway, we ended up naming them Lady (the little girl) and Bug (the little boy). So far we haven't ran accross any other BTs with these names. They fit them perfectly!

We knew a week ahead of time when we were to pick our BT so the wife had jotted down female names the whole week with my input and even carried the list along on the trip (125 miles). We couldn't decide and I suggested we wait to see the pup - we had pick of the litter but knew we wanted a female. On the drive home I remarked about how well she traveled and the wife responded with, "We're driving Miss Daisy." We looked at each and said, "That's it!" She just looked like a Daisy.
