On Sunday September 14th The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (Maine) will hold their annual Paws In The Park event!
It's a super fun all day event, starting with a dog walk around Deering Oaks Park (you don't need a dog to participate)! Proceeds from the event will help provide food, shelter and veterinary care (including spaying and neutering) to help more than 4,000 stray, abandoned and owner-surrendered animals find their way home.
Every participant will receive a t-shirt. There will be contests for Best Tail Wag, Best Trick and Best Bark following the walk!
Starbucks Coffee and pastries will be served for those who arrive early to visit and browse...

And Friends Of Homeless Animals Inc. will be there! We are a BT rescue covering the North East U.S. We'll have a table with pamphlets, applications, info, and ofcourse cute adoptable Boston Terriers!
