When Gizmo turns a year old in November, I was planning on breeding him. I don't know how much I should charge for a stud fee since I've never done this before. Can anyone help? I don't want to charge too much or too little.

The world has enough back yard breeders.

Is your dog a good example of the breed? Have you had the proper genetic tests done to ensure he will not pass along any bad traits? BAER, CERF, and Patella (OFA) examinations?

There are already tons of bostons in rescues waiting for good homes. Don't add to the population. Leave the breeding to the professionals. Why not get your dog neutered? It's better for his health and temperment.

Take a look at what other breeders are charging and take it from there.

Get him neutered.

Why don't you and BTforme get yourselves neutered.

If he hasnt had the genetic testing, get him nuetered. Theres 3-4 million dogs put down every year because they dont have homes. Dont contribute to that.
