Just curious if any of your guys have noticed little bumps on the mouths of your dogs...
Jake seems to get a couple of them every couple weeks. They look just like little pimples and seem to go away within a few days, but I'm curious as to why they seem to come up so often.
My moms boxer gets these, and the vet told my mom it is Acne. He said the best way to treat it is to keep Sadie's food bowls clean. Which means washing them every day. She gets the pimples worse when she eats out of her stainless steel bowls, as opposed to the ceramic bowls. My mom started cleaning the bowls every day and only takes the stainless bowls camping, and amazingly that is when Sadie breaks out.
Ahhh, very interesting since I do feed Jake from stainless steel bowls! I'm ashamed to admit that I probably don't clean them as often as I should, but now that I know this is likely the cause, I'm going to start doing a better job of that.
