Default NEW 2 YR OLD BOSTON NOT GOING POTTY!

I just adopted a 2 year old boston terrier on monday and he doesn't seem to go potty a lot. He is housebroken and the previous owner says he will sit at the door when he has to go. So when he does that, we'll take him outside and all he does is sniff around and be his "guard dog" self. He is easily distracted by his surroundings.

He has eaten a little bit and has been drinking enough water, but has only gone pee twice but has not pooped at all.

Do bostons not go potty a lot? Is this normal?

How is he now? He may just be getting used to his surroundings. I hope he's gone poop by now or he needs some laxatives.

He is in strange surroundings and it may take him time to feel comfortable doing his business, Just have patience and if he looks like he is in distress then I would recommend taking him to a vet and getting him checked out. You have to think that he has probably had a lot of changes going on in his life in a short period of time and it may have knocked his system of kilter like it does with humans when they go through a lot of stress.
