my sweet little boston needs to gain a little weight. nothing particular i hear everybody thinking but this little monster wont eat. wel actually he does eat but the bitches here are in heat...... he is now a year old and his hormones are doing very well. i know that this fase will pass but i find it sooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating! i'd rather have him mount everything in site than him not eating. this behavior i can do something about but not eating.......
he has just eaten 2/3 of his evening dinner and the last little bit he leaves standing!
luckely he's not skinny but i'd like him to gain 0.5kg...............
anyone else have these feelings?

i set out food for my bt's and it seems like throughout the day they eat a little and then come back to it. Have you tried mixing it with something? Or changing dog food? Could also try mixing an egg in his diet weekly. good luck

thanks but its a hormone problem. he's a year old and finding out hes a man ! he has raw diet. this is something he normally loves. after a few weeks his hormones will settle and he will eat again. so i'll just wait.............

they are finicky eaters, he will grow out of it, somedays they will eat like hogs, others they will eat when they feel like it. Mack ddnt gain weight for the longest time, but he is a little guy, so he doesnt gain much weight.

we've passed the hormonal fase! he eats fine but stays at a fine 7.5kg. he has raw diet which he loves and this behavior fits in with his character. fausto does things when fausto wants ( at least that's what he thinks! ) so he eats enough in his own time
