Default Seizures or allergies - 06-23-2008, 12:09 PM

My wife and I purchased a 1 yr old BT in Feb. The little guy wasen't in the best of shape. He had a yeast infection in his ears, Fleas, and a tape worm. After treating those issues, he started having some sort of seizure. He would spit up and then start rubbing his face on the floor and walls like a maniac. Some times this would last for 20-30 mins and happen a few times a week. Our Vet said it was an allergy, and we have been treating it with some Chinese herbs like External Wind( Not kidding). They don't happen as frequently, but they still happen around every 10-14 days. These Episodes are always preceded by him spitting up. He also cranes his neck out like he is trying to open his breathing passage. Any answers???

I think I'd get a second opinion from another vet. When he cranes his neck out is he making a snorting sound like he cant breath? He might be reverse sneezing which can be caused by allergies or something in his nose. My Rosco does it when we go to the river, he gets sand in his nose.
