Bosworth is 9 months old and was neutered on Monday. He has been home with me since tuesday morning and everything seemed to be fine. No swelling, discoloration or discomfort that I could tell... just a little drowsy. The past few days he seems to be unable to control his bladder more than normal and today I noticed that between his penis and scrotum there are two big bulges almost as large as his testicles were before the operation. I touched them and they were hard as rocks and touching them didn't seem to bother the pup. I went back to work for an hour or 2 and came home and checked again and I noticed that the tip of his penis seemed to be exposed but it was abnormally red and just looked like a little hole but swollen and red. I'm really worried and I'm wondering if I should wait it out until the vet opens monday, or if a trip to the animal hospital is in order. Has this happened to anyone else??? Please let me know asap, I'm so worried about the poor guy.

go to the vets. this could be internal bleeding. if this continues it may case damage to his penis as things could get blocked off. if he keeps on bleeding he could go into shock. get it checked out!
