It might take some time for them to get used to it, but its so much easier and less stressful

Dremels are pretty good. Just be sure to use a fine grit sandpaper tip, not a sanding stone as they tend to get too hot.

Also, not that it's really a concern for Bostons, but if you have longhaired dogs be careful no to get the hair caught in the dremel. It can wrap up in the hair and rip it out. To avoid this you can take a thin sock or pantyhose, put the dog's paw inside and push the nails through. This way the hair is out of the way.

Judging by your username, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you might have done this a time or two before?
