Default Regurging?
Old 09-24-2008, 07:23 AM   #1 (permalink)

My boston gets fed every morning at 620am. Almost every morning at 930-945 he regurges digested food. Also many times throughout the night he awake abruptly, regurges just a spit like material and usually catches it before it spews out and then he starts reverse sneezing. I know it's a clear mucus because sometimes he doesn't catch it. This can happen up to 4 or 5 times a night on a bad night.
I have a vet appointment, I am terrified about them charging me a fortune for testing...
What do I do from here?

my puppy does the same thing. 14weeks old. Pukes in his mouth and swallows it back down before it comes out and sneezes alot. Its starting to get scary how much he pukes. We are going to start trying different food tonight.

Hopefully the vet will be able to help, puking that often is not good. Check to make sure all his toys are in good shape, so he cant pick pieces off and swallow them. Make sure he's not eating anything he shouldnt be. What kind of food does he eat, and how long has he been doing this?

This could be something serous or could be as simple as a diet change to cure! Check the label on your current food... Make sure there are NO grains, potatos or dairy first thing and then make sure there are no artificical colors, flavors or preservatives.

A raw or even a home cooked diet is FAR better then any kibble on the market.
