i just fell in love with my boston!!!

i was just rolling down the residential streets of the east side of buffalo, new york one rainy afternoon after holloween, when i spotted this little black pup soaked to the bone, eating candy wrappers and whatever else to be found on front yards. some times stopping to take a sip of water out of a water filled crack in the sidewalk. followed her for three streets at a slow meandering food gathering mission, in what some would consider a very bad dangerous neighborhood!! finally, i had enough and pulled past the pup and got out and kneeled down on the sidewalk, and as she came up to me, ours eyes met, her big melting orbs of amazment and my tearful eyes of a lost animal found! she hopped up into my arms, shivering and soaked and very muddy. no leash,collar or tags of identifing markings.........off we went to petsmart for complete cleanup followed by trips to vet and license department!! my dog?? damn right...come to find she's 4 months old, no phsical problems and an adventurous wanting to learn attitude. she has accepted me as the alpha male and i am please to say she willing to work within my parameters of training with minimal reinforcement and responds to my hand and sound commands. a beautiful friend has entered my life, and wants to stay, and stay with me. i feel accepted be a great friend..i am new to this preed and don't want to spoil her or turn her into a lap dog...........so, any out there with any constructive critisim would be gladly accepted.
