Hi, I am a newbie here too. Abigail is my second Boston. She will be 1 on Dec. 26th. She is so gentle and snuggley. She never barks, never whimpers or begs but yesterday I brought home one of those pocketbooks that looks like your pet, Abigail thought it was a play toy for her. I let her snif it for a while then she gently took it by the ear and put it in her kennel. I told my husband I just lost my pocketbook. When I take it from her and put it away she will sit and whimper, FOR THE FIRST TIME, looking up at the shelf it sits on. When I came home from work last night she saw it again. I took the shoulder strap off and let her investigate it further. We had some company so I forgot she had taken it. Around 1:30am I went into my bedroom and Abigail was sleeping IN HER KENNEL, SHE ALWAYS SLEEPS WITH ME, with her little head on that purse. I bought myself and new leather purse and now Abigail has a new friend.
