Hello everyone. I'm new around here, just found this forum today.

We just took custody of a Boston that has been in my boyfriend's family for 12 years, but her caretakers recently lost interest in taking care of her. So we brought her home last night and she's much happier. We were already thinking about getting a puppy and this made the decision that much more solid!

Anyway, we are hoping to get one this weekend. I don't have any experience with breeders, but thanks to this site and "googleing" it, I have a list of questions and expectations. My only hesitation is that the breeder is 12 hours away so she will meet us halfway to show us the puppy. I won't be able to see the conditions they are in, but I am armed with questions!
