My name is Jim. The wife and I got a Boston Terrier pup last Thursday and she is 11 weeks old. We named her 'Daisy' and she is a sweetheart. I'm retired and get a little lonesome while the wife works. She was retired but took another job out of boredom after only 8 months of retirement life. She plans to work 3 more years, or there about.

We have two standard poodles who find Daisy a curiosity thus far but due to their size versus Daisy's, we don't plan to let them romp together any time soon. We're in the process of changing her food over to another we're fond of along with our vet. I woke Daisy up this morning at 5 a.m. and there were no puddles in her little bedroom (mud room off the kitchen). Went outside and she promptly did both. She loves to play mind games but what she doesn't understand is, I love to play them also. That's the reason I woke her before she did herself. I believe that will be the best way to house break her and I'm here a lot to try to do that. Now, if I could only find a way to stop the chewing......

Glad I found this forum and looking forward to swapping stories as they occur.

Jim

Welcome to the forum and to the Boston Terrier world. You will love it. My Bonnie was pottie trained pretty easy and it happens all of a sudden. Ours likes to play, and when allowed to sleep under the covers although she spends most nights in her own bed in the utility room. She loves the outdoors and has become a real lizard hound.
