Hi everyone,

My name is Summer and my family just recently purchased a black and white Boston Terrier, her name is Dizzy. She is so cute and loves to play all the time. Her favorite toy is a little sheep we bought from PetsMart...highly recommend for puppies, easy to chew on. She sleeps with us at night and reminds us of what it is like to have a newborn.
Less than a day after we bought her she starting having what we thought were seizures. Well after a few episodes of whatever was going on with her we took her to the vet. They said she was too young for a blood sample but that what she was having didn't sound like seizures. They said she might have hypoglycemia. Well she goes back next Thursday after 2 weeks so we'll see what the vet says now. Luckily she hasn't had an episode in a week so I am pretty sure it is probably hypoglycemia.
Anyways we love Dizzy so much, she is such a sweetheart (when she isn't biting our ankles). I am glad that we found this post because we have never had a Boston Terrier before so I probably have a lot of questions.

Thanks,
Summer and Dizzy

I hope your little one is okay. Hopefully, it won't be seizures.

You've found the right place to ask questions about Bostons !

My dog use to have what I thought was seizures and of course I would freak out but he would only do it when he was "asleep." He sometimes sleeps with his eyes open so it is difficult to tell when he is awake. He would shake and his eyes would roll into the back of his head but he hasn't done that since we first got him. He is now 4 months and we got him a little shy of 3 months old.

Have you talked to the breeder to see if they have any experience with their line having problems? How old is your pup?
