Google is your best friend.

Do a search for "housebreaking" and the world is at your fingertips.

Will google, but if anyone has some GOOD page that they know of, that would help.

Tonight was their first time in the house and we've already had 3 accidents. Right in front of me. As soon as I noticed I put the puppy on newspaper but they didn't do anything.

I'm gonna be patient

i wouldn't use the news paper as they have a hard time going outside when you want your pup to go potty outside. i let the pup outside after eating, sleeping, playing, drinking. then i let the pup outside until he's done something and then i praise him into the heavens!! after 6 i never feed or give them a chance to drink. within a couple of weeks they have the hang of it. also don't give him too much space in the crate. he should only be able to lie comfortably. if its too big a space they will pee in a corner and then lay on a dry spot.

Thanks for the link I hope it helps me!! My peeve was 13 weeks old when we bought her and now she goes outside, but we are still having accidents in the crate at night, and when we leave. I need to read up on some more of these forums and figure out a plan!!!

Puppy pads! Go to your local Walmart or Kmart and buy some.

We got Bandit when he was 6 Weeks old, A little to young to be weaned from his mother. But he potty trained in less then two days. With the help of Newspapers. The puppy pads came in later and really worked.

We live in Michigan where the winters are harsh and Bandit wasn't having it, trying to go outside. They say it is going to be hard to train him to go outside when the weather is nicer, But we will cross that bridge when it gets here.

But with Puppy pads and Newspaper bandit only goes in those spots.

I hope this can help in some way. I am New to owning a Boston, But are we having so much fun. Bandit has brought so much to our whole family. The kisses are just icing on the cake.

-Chris, Allison and Bandit.

I've only had my Bruin for 1 week exactly and so far he's been doing great. Our weather here in RI is crazy..one day freezing the next ok... It's been hard taking him outside where he came with roundworms and fleas...

we automatically started with puppy training pads.. I clean up that area with some lysol and then he doesnt go there anymore... so we have eliminated from 5 pads on the floor down to only 1 in each room so far. Not bad for only a week.

Poor guy wouldnt even eat cause of the worms

Happy to report that Bruin is better and doing great at going on his pads.. We are working on trying the outside but no can do until worms and fleas get better.

hope this helps! it helped me to disinfect the area with lysol and he stopped using those areas!

If you find out a solution... please let me know. I have a 9 month BT and a 14 week BT who start going out without accidents and then all of a sudden they start again. I don't know if it is weather related or they have us really trained...
