I have a 18 month old BT, Lola and bought her about a year ago( last year xmas gift to my wife). She was 5 months old when we got her. Its been a long struggle, but she is great now with potty and most other things.

Here is the issue: When I have company( buddy(s) watching the game) she wont come too far out of my room. She'll come out near the door and sit, and Ill call her or my buddy calls, and she turns and goes back into the room. She wont even go outside, she just hold it til they leave or I go back there and pick her up and take her out to the patio. When she comes back in, she runs back into the room. She wont come near me if Im near them. She is so afraid of people. She hasnt always been this way, and she isnt afraid of other dogs.

What do i do to break this fear becuase I have never had a dog like this.

ignore her! every time you pay attention to her even if you just look at her you will ensure her behavior. she probably had a bad experience with company. it could be that you haven't seen what it was but she has found it scary. because we people try to encourage the dog that there is nothing wrong we enhance the behavior.
what i'dd do is leave the door open and when the visitors come in thow something yummie on the floor. don't encourage her and don't let the visitor talk or look at her. when she picks up the treat ignore her. when this goes well throw the treat closer to the visitor. again it's very important that there is no attention payed to the dog. when she goes to get the treat near the visitor let them throe the treat near their feet. if this goes well let them feed it out of the hand. when all goes well they can call her for the treat.
this will take a while but will give her back her courage and even may enjoy company. don't expect too much too soon.
