Default Create Training gone bad - 05-02-2008, 10:44 PM

I'm currently a new Boston owner. Ive had maddie for 3 weeks. We started create traing about 2 days in. She cried at first which i expected pretty much all through the night. Then it got better and better she would only cry for a little but then go to sleep. The past 3 days she doesnt stop crying. She will cry then sleep for a hour then cry again consistantly for 4-5 hours. I dont know if i have done something wrong or what happen. The only way she wont cry is if me or my girlfriend will sleep on the floor right in front of the create. Basically she had about a week and a half of no crying only to be let out then right back to bed. Now she wont stop!!! we have water and a toy in the create and have it covered. any suggestions would be great.

Ps. I have a carrier time create which works fine, but im thinking if I need to change to the big caged ones?

you have taucht your dog to cry. if you have let nher out to go potty when she crys then you are the one who caused this. dogs are very bright. begin again and start from the beginning. only let her out when she is quiet. let her out for potty every hour and then gradually increase the time. she will give up! put the crate in your bedroom and move it a little away from you each day. DON"T GIVE HER ANY ATTENTION as you will reinforce the behavior.
