My 15week old BT pup has an extreme sensitive stomach due to a big parasite infestation in his early weeks of life. Now he is on a bland diet - Hills Science Diet I/D. Which I can only get at his Vetinary office. Haven't been able to find any treats that sit well with his stomach. Just wondering if anyone knew of any dry kibble that would be a good transition for him to move on to without a huge stomach upset, and treats that are specially made for dogs with sensitive tummies!!
Loki also had a bad parasite infestation. The vet had us feed him boiled chicken as well as the vet-prescribed food. As Loki's gotten better, we still always have boiled chicken around, it's still his favorite treat and gentle on the tummy. He also likes freeze-dried chicken and salmon - a little easier to transport than the boiled stuff!
I just realized your question was more about dried food. I don't know which food has all the best nutrients and is also gentle on the tummy but we transitioned to Orijen kibble and Primal freeze dried without any additional tummy issues.
