When my boy was healthy- he was doing between 3-4 per day. Sometimes 5!

    2 - 5 also, and I'd pick 3 for the average.

Generally, I would say 2 - 3 per day, usually 2 and she's 4 1/2 years old. The higher quality of dog food you feed your puppy reduces the amount of BM's. Less waste in the food means less waste for them. Also their poop is much firmer than with junky food, easier to clean up as well. So, depending on your dog food, that could be the cause, but it could be down to stress too. Do a google search on "dog food comparisons" if you think that could be the culprit.
