    TV shows ...

    South Park (my favourite)
    American Dad
    Family Guy
    Simpsons
... I find these animated shows to be not only entertaining but culturally significant too.

    Intervention
    Obsessed
... there but for the grace of God goes I.

    Movies ...

Lord of the Rings (fantastic and nearly as good as the books too)
Star Wars (all of them were great in my opinion)
Indiana Jones (except for the last movie which sucked)
Aliens (the third one was boring but the rest were good)

    Pulp Fiction
    Snatch
Full Metal Jacket (salute to Stanley Kubrick)
Clockwork Orange (another winner from Kubrick)
    Platoon
Gran Torino ( very good - I want to be just as cranky when I am old)

... there are more movies that rank as favourites since I own close to 200 dvds and consider all of them favourites.
